The Agapanthus Blue, 'Agapanthus', produce buds that start out a steel-blue to blackish and stand up firmly and then they bloom out to a lavender blue and droop down. Agapanthus is also commonly known as the Lily of the Nile, African Blue Lily, and African Lily.
