Celosia - Fresh Look Red
The Celosia Fresh Look Red, 'Celosia plumosa', also known as Cockscomb, is one of the most colorful foliage plants for beds, borders, pots, planters and window boxes and they provide a fresh floral look all summer long. The Fresh Look Red thrives in the summer heat and humidity, with drought, or rainy weather conditions. Fresh Look Red decorates a garden or patio container with rosy red plumes and it covers up old plumes by producing new foliage and plumes. It won the Gold Medal for its consistent performance with minimal maintenance and pest-free growth. The plant always looks fresh, needing no grooming. When grown in the full sun, 'Fresh Look Red' plants mature at 12 to 18 inches tall and spreads 12 to 20 inches. The central plume can be 8 to 10 inches tall and 5 inches wide.
