The Snow Berry, 'Symphoricarpos × doorenbosii Marleen', also known as New Eden 'Marleen' or Pink Snow Berry, is winter hardy plant that thrives in sunny or partially shaded areas. This shrub has slightly bent branches with blue-green leaves. Small, whitish pink flowers appear from June into September. This Snow Berry is a compact shrub that produces bright purple to pink berries in great abundance in the fall. This new snowberry is very suitable as cut flowers and for displaying the decorative branches with berries. It is a great container plant. For best results Marleen can be cut back to a height of 10 inches in February or March. ... additional info
