Daisy - Crème

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. The cream colored blooms are very attractive. The Daisy Crème, 'Argyranthemum frutescens', is a fantastic release from Proven Selections. The Daisy Creme exhibits fast growth and is wonderfully floriferous grower for baskets, borders, and landscapes. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. Creme has a compact, mounding habit. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Herb - Pineapple Sage The red tubular flowers emerge in August. The bruised foliage of Pineapple sage really does smell like fresh pineapple. Pineapple sage is often grown as an annual and often grown in containers. The sages are tough and easy to grow and many attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The fresh leaves of pineapple sage are used in fruit salads and drinks. Pineapple sages make a stunning center piece or border plant. It will grow to shrub size in a single season. Like most mints, pineapple sage has square stems.
