Daisy - Toucan Tango
Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. The Daisy Toucan Tango, 'Brachyscome hybrid', is a low growing daisy with fine foliage. The deeply cut, dark green leaves are aromatic when bruised. These daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. Toucan Tango are often used as ground covers, in beds or in bold color containers. These Proven Selections Aussie beauties are covered with daisy-like flowers even in the hottest summers. Tomato - Big Girl Big Girls are a highly adaptable intermediate tomato variety and they are resistant to verticillium and fusarium wilts. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. The Tomato Big Girl, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum', features a solid fruit that matures to a rich red color. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. Big Girl is a heavy producer of large, bright red, firm fruits weighing up to 1 pound.
