Fuchsia - ShadowDancer® Betty
The Fuchsia ShadowDancer® Betty, 'Fuchsia hybrid', is a very early blooming Fuschia with exceptional uniformity and compact growth. The red sepals with white corolla flowers perch well above the bushy small leaved foliage. This Proven Selections plant blooms all summer long. They are great plants for greenhouses, window boxes, baskets, homes, and flower beds. Fuchsias should be planted in warm, sheltered spots in well-drained soil. These plants have dark green leaves often with red stems. The flowers, which are produced during the summer and early fall, are droopy and come in many colors. Fuschia is one of the Hummingbirds favorite flowers. Fuchsias do not like to dry out. Keep the soil moist to the touch from spring through autumn. In many parts of the country (and especially if planted in a hanging pot) the fuchsia will require daily watering. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. ... get more information
Daisy - Peach Symphony The Daisy Peach Symphony 'Osteospermum hybrid', joins the hands down best of the Osteospermum in the Proven Winners Symphony series. They’ll produce prolific flowers from spring right through fall. These beauties make a unique addition to any combination. They’re heat-tolerant, so they won’t shy away from hot summer conditions and full sun. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. These daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. The deeply cut, dark green leaves are aromatic when bruised. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. |
