The Geranium Appleblossom, 'Pelargonium x hortorum', is a unique variety that offers beautiful soft pink double flowers, complemented by distinct leaf zoning and an upright growth habit. The Appleblossom has excellent vigor and great landscape performance. They make large, full-sized plants and are very showy in ground beds and containers with their large, colorful pink blooms. Geraniums are a favorite bedding and container plant and are grown in almost every region of the country. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and they are commonly called garden geraniums or zonal geraniums. Begonia - Spectrum Bavaria The Begonia Spectrum Bavaria, 'Begonia x hybrida', are wonderfully floriferous plants that are at home in the garden, or in patio containers. This begonia is a cross between the winter flowering Begonia socotrana, and the summer flowering tuberous types of begonias. The Spectrum Bavaria begonias are distinguished by their large, double flowers that are a rose pink in color. These very vigorous Spectrum Begonias are excellent in porch boxes and hanging baskets. In cool or wet climates, consider growing your Spectrum begonias on a patio or in porch boxes. They should not be subjected to more than ½ day of sun as they will not tolerate a full sun location. Too much shade however, may cause the plants to become soft and less prolific in bloom.
