Geranium - Bravo Pastel

The Geranium Bravo Pastel, 'Pelargonium x hortorum', displays beautiful pastel pink flowers with a white eye that is a winner in any gardner. This exciting unique color was a 2003 University of Tennessee Top Performer. Geraniums are a favorite bedding and container plant and are grown in almost every region of the country. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and they are commonly called garden geraniums or zonal geraniums. They are excellent in containers of all types from small pots to large tubs to window boxes and combine well with other plants such as petunias and ivies. Geraniums are one of your best choices for use in hanging baskets. Plant in ordinary well-drained soil. Over fertilization results in excessive foliage and few flowers. Sweet Bell Peppers - Golden Bell The Golden Bell pepper is great for chili and salads and for just eating by itself. Arguably, it is the sweetest tasting pepper with nice, juicy, thick flesh. They can be picked green or you can wait for the fruits to turn yellow for the sweetest flavor. Note: To get a jump on the season transplant outside, use a walls-of-water or some black plastic to maintain and increase temperatures. Pinch off early flowers to encourage plant growth. Peppers use quite a bit of water but prefer to be watered deeply and not too often. Blossom pruning will improve fruit size.
