Geranium - Double Jewel

The Hardy Geranium Double Jewel, 'Geranium sanguineum', is a hardy geranium from A. Verschoor Horticulture with double white flowers and a pink- purple center. This tiny gem grows only 10" tall and is quite at home in a pot. The flowers' stalks defy hardy geraniums’ tendency to flop and hold themselves straight up. It blooms even during the hottest months of the summer, preferring a bit of partial shade in hot, dry climates. If in hot sun, it needs adequate moisture. It’s a great choice for porches and front steps. It is a much shorter variety than most geraniums, which makes it perfect for a patio container, but works well in borders too. ... additional information
