Grass - Toffee Twist Sedge

The Grass 'Toffee Twist Sedge', Carex flagellifera Toffee Twist, is a mounded grass plant. The Irridescent slender mahogany leaves arch upward 1 1/2 to 2 feet before spilling back to the ground. It is distinctive as an accent plant or in masses, it grows well in rock gardens and along slopes. Toffee Twist Sedges are an attractive coral color in fall/winter. This grass adds structure and grace to mass plantings in the garden. Excellent in containers and window boxes. Prefers full sun to light shade. Water when soil is dry to the touch. Daylily - Pandora's Box The Daylily Pandora's Box, 'Hemerocallis ‘Pandora’s Box’, has very fragrant lightly ruffled, white petals with a purple throat and a flower size of 4”. With dark green foliage, this daylily will reach a height of 24-26” and a plant spread of 36”. ‘Pandora’s Box’ will bloom from May through July, with outstanding color and it is a definite reblommer. ‘Pandora’s Box’ prefers a full sun area that is well-drained. Although the blooms will last only for one day, there are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage, (remove in late fall). ‘Pandora’s Box’ is considered to be pest and deer resistant. Use for cut flowers, massing, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.
