Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Blue Angel is no exception. The Hosta Blue Angel, Hosta 'Blue Angel', has huge, heart-shaped blue-grey leaves and tall stems producing cream colored flowers. A great choice for any beginner gardener. The cream flowers of this fast growing hosta bloom in mid-summer, however, hosta’s are not known for their flowers. Lily - Fata Morgana (Asiatic Double Lily) The dark green foliage makes a great contrast with its flower color. The Asiatic Lily Fata Morgana, 'Lilum ‘Fata Morgana’, also known as Asiatic double lily, has extremely bright yellow flowers with 5-7 flowers per stem. Blooming in mid to late June, ‘Fata Morgana’ should be planted in full sun and in a well drained soil. This lily is a little different than the rest, for it does not produce pollen in the middle of the flower, giving it a longer bloom time. ‘Fata Morgana’ has a plant height of 39” and is one of the newest Lily’s on the market today.
