Hosta - Night Before Christmas

The Hosta Night Before Christmas, 'Hosta', has large, pointed green leaves with narrow white centers. The foliage is slightly wavy with heavy leaf substance. The pale lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known for their flowers. With a plant height of 26” and a spread of 36”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Night Before Christmas’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. Dianthus - Miss Pinky The Dianthus 'Miss Pinky', Dianthus Hybrid, has huge, deep salmon pink blooms that would be a flower-arranger’s delight. Their very compact habit and free blooming nature make the 'Miss Pinky' Dianthus a stand out both in container gardens and perennial borders. Dianthus will bloom from mid summer to early fall. In order for a longer bloom time, deadhead the blooms continuously throughout the summer. Dianthus needs a sunny site with well-drained soil, but will tolerate some shade in the afternoon and humidity. These fragrant, spicy dove like flowers look wonderful as a border plant, rock gardens, along walks or paths, fand for edging. - a very pretty plant.
