The Iris Spinn Off, Iris x germanica 'Spinn Off' is a fragrant reblooming bearded iris that has magenta colored flowers with a rose margin around the flower petals. With a velvety texture and beautiful sword-shaped foliage, it has a plant height of 32”. Spinn Off blooms in the spring and then again in the fall. It prefers average, well-drained soil. Spinn Off prefers full sun, but will tolerate a little afternoon shade. It will make a great addition around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. Diascia - Hannah Rose The Diascia 'Hannah Rose', is one of the stars of the new series of Diascia. It is an excellent selection with pinkish red flowers similar to 'Red Ace', but a much more behaved, less aggressive growth habit. 'Hannah Rose' has a low growing, trailing habit, making it suitable for hanging baskets, landscape beds, and patio planters. It fills smaller pots to perfection. Today's generation of Diascias have been noted for their resistance to heat and humidity and selected for long-blooming abilities. The new varieties flower well into the summer even in the deep South, and throughout the entire summer in most parts of the country.
