The Lantana Patriot Desert Sunset, 'Lantana "Patriot" Desert Sunset', is an annual shrub like plant that will produce beautiful flowers of orange, gold, pink and coral. Some contact with foliage may irritate sensitive skin. The Deset Sunset Lantana has attractive foliage and the fpliage is topped with vividly colored flowers. All Lantana's contain a toxin that if ingested may cause stomach discomfort. Plant Lantanas in full sun and well drained soil in either beds or containers. Lantana is an excellent choice for beds or containers. Pinch off spent flowers to promote new flower growth. All Lantana's are tough, resilient plants that thrive in hot weather and bloom profusely from spring until frost. Lantana prefers moist soil, but is drought tolerant.
