Lantana - Patriot Hallelujah
The Lantana Patriot Hallelujah, 'Lantana "Patriot" Hallelujah', is an annual shrub like plant that will produce beautiful bright gold, orange and lavender flowers. Lantana prefers moist soil, but is drought tolerant. Some contact with foliage may irritate sensitive skin. The brightly colored flowers of Lantana are excellent for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. The Hallelujah Lantana has attractive foliage and the foliage is topped with vividly colored flowers. All Lantana's are tough, resilient plants that thrive in hot weather and bloom profusely from spring until frost. The Lantana is also commonly called a Shrub Verbena. Plant Lantanas in full sun and well drained soil in either beds or containers. Pinch off spent flowers to promote new flower growth. Lantana is an excellent choice for beds or containers. If a coleus plant is allowed to seed, it has completed its life cycle and will die.
