The Lavatera Tree Mallow Blushing Blend, 'Lavatera trimestris', has 4 blushing colors of profuse pink, rose, white, and magenta/pink flowers that cover this tropical looking annual hedge or screen plant. The Lavatera is one of the most versatile plants in the garden and is very easy to grow. Lavatera Blushing Blends 4 inch satiny flowers will remind you of hibiscus and hollyhock. They will bloom from summer into early fall. Lavatera prefers full sun and any well drained garden soil. Very fertile soil will produce more foliage than flowers.
