Leopard Plant - Othello
The Ligularia ‘Othello Leopard Plant’, Ligularia dentata, is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge leathery, toothed, heart-shaped, basal leaves. Use Ligularia in group or mass plantings, woodland gardens, or along streams, ponds, pools or bog gardens. It must have moist soil and should never be allowed to dry out. Ligularia ‘Othello’ should be planted in full shade in a well-drained area. New leaves emerge purplish-red but turn to brownish-green.
