All parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested. They begin blooming in mid-summer, these strange and exotic looking lily-like flowers are 4 to 5 inches across with wavy-edged petals. They can be planted indoors or outdoors. The Yellow Climbing Lily, 'gloriousa lutea', adds a tropical flavor and is best suited for milder areas. Each plant will produce 12 or more lily- like flowers. This climbing lily produces slightly smaller flowers of golden yellow. The Yellow Climbing Lily can be used in pots and containers.
