Mockorange - Golden

Golden Mockorange, Fragrant, Philadelphus coronarius 'Aureus', has single, white flowers that bloom among the gorgeous golden yellow leaves. This deciduous shrub's deliciously sweet white flowers delight the senses in late spring. The compact form creates an excellent accent plant in any landscape. Golden Mockorange is relatively free from disease and thrives in dry conditions. It grows to around 6 ft. tall, with a spread of 4-5 feet. The leaves emerge brilliant golden in the spring, fading to a pleasing lime-green by summer. It thrives best with light shade and moderate water.
