Nemesia - Safari™ Violet Rose

The Nemesia Safari ™ Violet Rose, 'Nemesia hybrids', was bred in Germany and England. These sweet scented blooms fill the air with their fragrant aroma when the sun hits the flowers. Proven Winners introduces Violet Rose, with it's violet flowers, to join the Nemesia line of old favorites. The Safari Violet Rose scoffs at cold weather and keeps blooming right through frosts in early spring and late fall. They have a compact form with strong upright flowers. They’re superb in planters or baskets where you can catch wind of the refreshing fragrance. This plant is outstanding in hanging baskets, combos, and window boxes. Nemesia hates drought so ensure the soil is kept moist. They perform best in cool gardens or in partial shade in hot areas. The compact plants produce and abundance of showy flowers all summer long. Hot Peppers - Habanero The Pepper Habenero, 'Capsicum chinense', is one of the hottest known peppers in the world! It adds fire and a distinctive citrus flavor to salsas, chutneys and soups. The Habenero Chile Pepper is prized by chile aficionados not only for its intense heat, but its distinct fruitiness. The Habeneros will turn a bland barbeque into a fiery feast. Transplant outside in the spring 3 to 4 weeks after last frost date. Note: To get a jump on the season transplant outside, use a walls-of-water or some black plastic to maintain and increase temperatures. Plant in average garden soil with sufficient organic matter. Peppers use quite a bit of water but prefer to be watered deeply and not too often. Harvest when 1 inch long or longer. Use gloves and do not touch any other part of the body after harvesting. Wash your hands immediately.
