Nemesia - Safari™ Plum
The Nemesia Safari ™ Plum, 'Nemesia hybrids', was bred in Germany and England. These sweet scented blooms fill the air with their fragrant aroma when the sun hits the flowers. Proven Winners introduces Safari Plum, with it's purple flowers, to join the Nemesia line of old favorites. The Safari Pink scoffs at cold weather and keeps blooming right through frosts in early spring and late fall. They have a compact form with strong upright flowers. They’re superb in planters or baskets where you can catch wind of the refreshing fragrance. This plant is outstanding in hanging baskets, combos, and window boxes. Petunia - Supertunia ® Mini Blue Veined The Petunia Supertunia ® Mini Blue Veined, 'Petunia hybrids', are wonderfully fragrant and have masses of small flowers and a vigorous trailing habit that turn hanging baskets and decorative urns into garden masterpieces. The Mini Blue Veined Petunia has beautiful blue veined flowers. Supertunias are a vigorously trailing species of an everblooming, long-living petunia from Australia. They will provide long-term color in full sun areas throughout the season, and can grow nearly an inch a day. They are ideal for baskets, beds, balconies and combination plantings. Supertunias are very heat and drought tolerant once established in the ground or pot. They do not need to have their dead flower heads removed to continue flowering and they are not leggy. Supertunias grow fast and therefore need ample moisture and fertilzer. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. |
