The Rosenkuppel Oregano, Origanum laevigatum, is a great ground cover used in mass or alone. It forms attractive mats of round dark green leaves that are the perfect backdrop for its beautiful, ornamental dark pink flowers. Its contrasting purple calyces really make this plant stand out amongst the rest. Blooming from August to October, it has a plant height of 15" and a width of 24". Blooming heavily in early summer, ‘Sky Wings’ is an attractive backdrop for your garden. It is an easily grown Iris. Iris ‘Sky Wings’ prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate some afternoon shade. This Iris needs plenty of water throughout the season to continue to looks its best. Iris ‘Sky Wings ’is useful in many ways. Best used around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. It can also be used in difficult banks for preventing erosion. They also make magnificent cut flowers and are resistant to deer.
