As an adult, you will enjoy the wonderful taste of Progress # 9 and appreciate the dwarf vines which require no staking! Progress # 9 has 5 inch pods with 7 to 9 plump peas per pod. Plant in the early spring, as soon as the soil can be worked. In mild climates, plant in the fall for winter harvest. Peas prefer well drained soil.
