Petunia - Supertunia ® Lavender Pink
Supertunias grow fast and therefore need ample moisture and fertilzer. Supertunias are a vigorously trailing species of an everblooming, long-living petunia from Australia. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. Supertunias are very heat and drought tolerant once established in the ground or pot. They will provide long-term color in full sun areas throughout the season, and can grow nearly an inch a day. They do not need to have their dead flower heads removed to continue flowering and they are not leggy. The Petunia Supertunia ® Lavender Pink, 'Petunia hybrids', are brilliant in color and are very low maintenance. The Lavender Pink has beautiful pink flowers. They are ideal for baskets, beds, balconies and combination plantings. ... additional info
Salvia - Lady in Red Pruning these plants after flowering will produce sideshoots in spring for cuttings. They are virtually irresistible to hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. This red-spiked variety performs well in containers and small space gardens. The Salvia Lady in Red, 'Salvia coccinea', is an elegant alternative to the more familiar scarlet salvia varieties usually seen in bedding schemes. |
