Squash - Summer - Pattypan Scallop Blend

The Squash Summer Scallop Blend, 'Cucurbita pepo (Hybrid)', has a slightly spicier, nuttier flavor than other summer squashes. We have chosen not just any blend of different colored patttypan squash, we have chosen the best. The Scallop Blend includes, 'Peter Pan', an All America winner with incredible yields and adaptability, 'Sunburst', another All America winner that tastes as if it was soaked in butter, and 'Early White', and Heirloom from the early 1700's. Plant in the spring, 2 to 4 weeks after the last average frost date. Squash prefers well drained, rich soil with lots of organic matter. Pea - Edible Pod - Oregon Sugar Pod This is one of those vegetables that tastes much better garden grown than from a store. The short 28 inch plants are easy to manage and they are excellent for the freezer. Peas prefer well drained soil. Keep the plants moist but do get them over watered and soggy. Peas that are too mature will cause the plant to stop producing.
