Tomato - Juliet
The Tomato Juliet, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum' produces clusters of juicy red elongated tomatoes on long vigorous vines. The Juliet is the most crack resistant cherry tomato ever produced. They are an indeterminate tomato plant. Tomatoes should be planted outside after the last average frost date. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. ... more information
Fuchsia - European Uprights™ Rosa Beacon Talk about tough, European gardeners actually grow these varieties in full sun. Along with outstanding heat tolerance, they also feature upright growth habits, lovely single flowers, and fantastic colors. Besides patio planters and mixed container gardens, our European Uprights do extremely well in beds and borders. They are great plants for greenhouses, window boxes, baskets, homes, and flower beds. The flowers, which are produced during the summer and early fall, are droopy and come in many colors. Fuchsias do not like to dry out. In many parts of the country (and especially if planted in a hanging pot) the fuchsia will require daily watering. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. |
