Tomato - Supersweet 100

The Tomato Supersweet 100, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum', is a staked hybrid plant that produces long strands of up to and over 100 super-sweet flavored cherry tomatoes. The super sweet tomatoes are 1 inch in diamter and they are extra-high in Vitamin C and great for salads. Supersweet plants will bear throughout the season and require staking or caging. The fruits are slightly larger than a cherry tomato and they have exceptionally good flavor. The tomatoes hang like bunches of grapes. Tomatoes should be planted outside after the last average frost date. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. ... find out more
