Veronica - Goodness Grows Speedwell

The Veronica ‘Goodness Grows’, Veronica spicata, or also known as Speedwell, is an easy to grow perennial that adds beauty to any garden. ‘Goodness Grows’ is the longest blooming Veronica in its family. This upright perennial produces wonderful violet-blue flowers from June till September. With its dark glossy green foliage, it has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18”. ‘Goodness Grows’ needs a full sun area with well-drained soil. Deadhead the flowers after the first bloom to prolong its bloom time. Veronica can be used as a ground cover, in mass plantings or along borders. Rose Campion - Jenny The Lychnis Jenny, 'Lychniscoronaria', a Blooms of Bressingham plant, is an upright perennial with woolly green foliage. The large fluffy pink flowers double and white markings run into the petals. ‘Jenny’ is a definite improvement from other Lychnis. The flower is larger, sterile and more refined. ‘Jenny’ has a plant height of 30” and 18” spread. The 1 ½ inch blooms are beautiful and they bloom from May to September. If cut back, they will bloom longer. ‘Jenny’ should be planted in full sun to light shade, but does require moisture and free-draining soil. Lychnis is deer resistant and a great perennial for mass plantings or at the back of a border.
