Viburnum - Wentworth American Cranberrybush
Wentworth American Cranberrybush, viburnum trilobum 'Wentworth', is a heavy fruiting, upright form of American Viburnum with white flowers in the spring, and then producing large red fruits that are excellent tasting and good for making preserves. Its dark green foliage turns a beautiful red in autumn. This cranberrybush is rounded in form, fairly dense and grows 10-12 feet tall and as wide. It is an excellent choice for screening, informal hedging, small masses, and borders. It requires part shade to full sun and prefers sandy loam to some clay, but does best on well-drained sites with better than average moisture. ... more
