The glossy deep green leaves are heavily textured. Carnaval is an extremely showy landscape plant with a growth that measures 4-5 feet tall and 3-5 feet wide. Slowly prune the down growing branches, and it will vigorously grow upright. Carnaval is a grower favorite because it is easy to plant, easy to maintain, and easy to enjoy! Leaves are dark green, oval and tapered, to 2. 5 inches long. Dark pink flowers with pale pink-white interiors, to 1 1/4 inches long are produced in corymbs on short lateral twigs on previous years growth in late spring to early summer.
